10,000 BC  in Namibia Namibian newspaper Allgemeine Zeitung Namibia has a special report on the preparations for 10,000 BC  online. Parts of the film will be shot in the area around the Spitzkoppe mountain, 120 km east of the city of Swakopmund. A pre-historic village has already been built. Set construction is said to have started at the end of March this year.
